TSC observes some factors when it wants to effect inter-county transfers for teachers.
Below are niceties the commission will use to consider inter-county transfer requirements, especially for delocalized teachers.
TSC observes some factors.
Teachers Service Commission will also have to stabilize its staff in each Sub County to not create a split shortage for the sake of pacifying delocalized teachers
The age of the teacher.
The age of the teacher is one factor that the Teachers Service Commission looks at when considering a transfer request.
Previously teachers aged above 56 years old were excused from the transfer out of the area of their recent workstation.
TSC observes some factors.
Due to the end of the Teachers Service Commission, delocalization policy tutors aged above 50 years old will be on the top priority list when the transfer appeal is being considered.
Delocalized tutors in this age bracket are school heads who were relocated out of their county in the year 2018.
Health status.
Teachers with confirmed cases of terminal illness were formerly exempted from transfers from their Sub County of work.
Ailing tutors will top the priority list. Teachers suffering from chronic conditions such as Diabetes, High blood pressure, and others will have their transfers early.
However, TSC will assess each case on its own value taking into consideration the supporting medical documents, and the availability, and accessibility to suitable medical facilities.
Teachers with disabilities.
Teachers with disabilities with the required certification were previously excused from transfers outside their current station sub-county.
Delocalized tutors who have a proven disability will have the topmost consideration when the re-routing starts.
Family consideration.
Tutors with families will be considered. This will be the main factor when transferring delocalized teachers’ homes.
Therefore, a marriage certificate or an Affi dative will be evidence for marriage.
Previously Teachers Service Commission transferred couples who are workers of the commission and have formerly acknowledged their marital status in the same neighborhood.

The factors are good and helpful to teachers of all calibres. Thanks.
I just wish TSC can for just this one time lend us their ears and agree to bring families together even if it’s not in their home counties or subcounty because it’s sometimes hard to handle family issues and to attend effectively to emergency more especially to young teacher parents who have young children
